Entering the investigation industry immediately upon graduating from a post-secondary risk management program, Glenn brings over 30 years of expertise.
After spending several years conducting investigations in Toronto and Vancouver, Glenn relocated back to his home in Halifax and founded an agency that quickly spread across Atlantic Canada. After building a solid reputation of excellence, and together with a team of dynamic professionals, Progress Investigations now has offices serving Atlantic Canada, Ontario and Western Canada.
Glenn is one of the founding members of the industry association that led to Investigators achieving Investigative Body status under the Federal Privacy Act PIPEDA.
Glenn specializes in performing Civil Law investigations and assisting clients during, and in anticipation of litigation. Glenn has gone on to select, train and implement an industry leading, custom-tailored, online OSINT unit that assists defense teams nationally. Glenn is ultimately responsible for meeting and exceeding client expectations.
Lacey Short joined Progress Investigations in 2023 as Director of Western Canada. Based in Calgary, Lacey is a highly skilled and experienced investigator with 15+ years of experience in objective and thoroughly investigations throughout Western Canada. Possessing high emotional intelligence and an ability to apply innovative fact-finding techniques, Lacey is a strong communicator, active listener, and effective interviewer. She is dedicated to mentoring, coaching and encouraging her team of investigators to gain the knowledge and expertise in order to produce the best outcome for each case.
Ryan lives in Toronto and joined Progress Investigations upon graduation from Saint Mary’s University in 2020, has been conducting and managing all aspects of investigations handled by Progress. In 2023, Ryan led the company in its journey to ISO 27001:2022 certification. Ryan is responsible for the management of all investigations conducted in Ontario and Eastern Canada, as well as all open source/cyber investigations across Canada.
